a field of pictures

Do you have any tips for shooting under bright sunlight? Like midday sun or a super bright day with no clouds. Thanks!
I have a few tips:
- find some shade to shoot in
- try and keep it as backlit as possible so the lighting on the face is even (even if that means your background might be blown out)
- or completely embrace the sun for some harsh lit photos. Just make sure the model has her chin/face facing up so there’s no awkward shadows on their face!

hi julia, sorry but can i ask, how did you ever progress in photography? i just feel as if i've hit a level where i'm not improving and i just feel so uncertain sorry. how did you get where you are today in terms of photography and editing?
Just keep going. Sometimes a shoot won’t work out the way you expect it to which has happened to me many times, but the important thing is to just keep shoot regardless. If you feel like you’re in a creative rut, I always like to shoot or do something completely opposite to what I’m doing. So instead of doing another fashion shoot, I’ll take my camera with me on a road trip and try to capture something interesting there!
